A weaver bird is one of nature’s great architects — a small, sparrow-sized songbird, it judiciously selects the right sticks and twigs and then weaves them together into intricate nests that hang like druids’ gourds from the boughs of trees.
Rose is a weaver bird. Her sticks and twigs are the people she meets and the nests she weaves are the interconnections and emotional ties that form from the introductions she makes. They hang, fruit filled and full of promise from the boughs of her heart’s great tree.
